Influence of Gibberellic Acid on Fruit Crops: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Gibberellic acid is a tetracyclic di-terpenoid molecule that acts as plant hormone by promoting the growth and development of plants. Gibberellins, one longest-known groups hormones, control several developmental signaling processes, such stem lengthening, germination, dormancy, flowering floral development, well senescence leaves fruits. Gibberellins can alter physiological including vegetative growth, sex expression, yield, yield components in crops, when applied foliar. Gibberellin, therefore has significant economic industrial significance. Their exogenous use aids enhancing commercially marketable traits plants benefits, like being environmentally friendly taking less time to treat plant. Growth regulators GA3 have finally impacted on crops' which turn affected flower production. To put things perspective, current scientific advancements will significantly affect fruit productivity quality. In this review, we discussed impact gibberellins different aspects crop production with special emphasis crops. make these ecologically toxicologically safe for both consumers, proper concentration applications crops should also be examined properly.

Transgenic Fruit Crops – A Review
Present increasing trend of population is alarming for food shortage. It was estimated that by the year of 2050 the population rate may increase up to 9 billion. Rapid increase of human population together with global climate variability resulted in increased demand of plant based food and energy sources. Conventional breeding is still limited due to genetic restrictions (high heterozygosity an...

BiofertiJizers are microbial preparations containing living cells of different microorganisms which have the ability to mobilize plant nutrients in soil from unusable to usable form through biological process. They are environmental friendly and play significant role in crop production. Previollsly it is mainly used for field crops but now-a-days it is used for fruit crops also. Biofertilizers ...

Background: Plant growth regulators (PGRs) have important roles in many processes such as germination, seedling growth, nutrition uptake, morphogenesis, ripening, etc. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of gibberellic acid, indole butyric acid, and methanol as plant growth regulators on morpho-physiological and phytochemical features in Thymus vulgaris L. Methods: The farm...
متن کاملEffect of gibberellic acid on fruit cracking and quality of Bing and Sam sweet cherries
Cline, J. A. and Trought, M. 2007. Effect of gibberellic acid on fruit cracking and quality of Bing and Sam sweet cherries. Can. J. Plant Sci. 87: 545–550. Rain-induced cracking of sweet cherries (Prunus avium L.) is a major problem in many cherry growing regions throughout the world. One method to reduce cracking is to grow cracking resistant cultivars; however, no completely effective control...
